Active Achievement - Bespoke Tutoring & Coaching

As part of my new services, I'm offering a free 15 minute, online suitability session for new students.

In this time we will discuss both the childs aims, needs and expectations. Alongside speaking to the student personally, the parent/guardian will have the opportunity to share any concerns, requirements and expectations too.

I personally find, using a student led approach, yields the most positive results. Enabling the student to use their own voice, ensures they feel involved and empowered.

Often children can be reluctant to engage at first- particularly if they've had a negative learning experience previously. This quick 15 minute introduction usually helps to put the student at ease, and feel heard. The aim is to leave them feeling validated and relaxed. To leave the parent feeling confident that their child's needs will be met, and that I'm suitable for their requirements.

Some clients prefer to just dive right in, which is fine too. For this approach I usually recommend a shorter initial session. This can ve delivered online, or local to Banbury within your own home.

Welcome to my new venture!

I've been doing freelance tutoring, writing and coaching from home for quite some time now. It felt like the natural progression, after encouragement from clients, was to make my own page.

Now I've a good amount of experience and all of the qualifications needed to match- I felt now was the time to start my own journey.

I'm still going to be freelancing and working with another Tutoring company, however I'm going to be offering my own services too. With the hope of eventually not having to work under another company.

All of my qualifications can be viewed and discussed upon request.

It's that time of year again. A time children are put under immense pressure, to achieve good exam results.

With the difficulties faced over the past couple of years; I'm hoping to help a few families that cannot afford the luxury of Tutoring/Coaching for their child.

At this point in time I'm paying particular focus to children in their last year of Primary School. I'm still taking paid bookings for other age groups and other areas. So please message me if you have a need I've not listed.

,Alongside offering some free sessions to families most in need, I will also be able to give a handful of discounted sessions/packages to those that are most in need. .

I also like to involve the parents in the learning process. I achieve this by; giving them tips on how to support their child, based on my personal observations. Answering questions they may have, or by offering potential solutions that are outside of the box, for when all else may have failed. This tends to be most helpful to parents of children, with different learning needs.
