What a fantastic GrangeFest 2026! 💙💛
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last and helped make the event such a wonderful success.
It was lovely to see so many children, families and former pupils enjoying the festivities. One of the highlights of the evening was catching up with familiar faces from years gone by and hearing about the journeys our former Grange children have taken. It was a reminder that whilst pupils may move on, The Grange Way stays with them.
Special thanks must go to Hayley and our incredible PTFA team. The amount of time, energy and commitment that goes into organising an event of this scale is enormous. Long before the gates opened, they were lifting, carrying, setting up, decorating, organising and problem-solving. It is genuinely hard work, yet they did it all with smiles on their faces and a determination to create a wonderful experience for our children and families. We are incredibly grateful for everything they do to support our school.
If you enjoyed GrangeFest and would like to help make future events possible, we would love to welcome more volunteers to join the PTFA. Whether you can offer a little time or a lot, every helping hand makes a huge difference and helps spread the workload across more people.
We would also like to thank our fantastic stall holders, sponsors, Layla & Helen and local businesses whose support helped make the event such a success.
🎶 A very special thank you to our DJ, Kieran, whose music, energy and enthusiasm helped create such a fantastic atmosphere throughout the evening. We are incredibly grateful for his support and contribution.
Thank you also to our dedicated staff team, who gave up their time to run stalls, supervise activities and help ensure everything ran smoothly. Their support and willingness to go the extra mile for our children never ceases to amaze me.
Most importantly, thank you to our wonderful children. Your enthusiasm, smiles and enjoyment are what make events like this so special.
GrangeFest is a celebration of everything that makes our school community unique, and yesterday evening showed that in abundance. It was a joy to see so many people—past and present—coming together to celebrate our school.
Thank you all for your support. We are already looking forward to GrangeFest 2027! 🎉🌟

The Grange 1 – 3 Hanwell Fields
What turned out to be a very tightly contested affair saw Hanwell Fields emerge as winners in this year’s Year 5/6 Boys’ Final.
The game started as a closely fought contest, with play moving back and forth between the two teams until The Grange began to take control. However, Hanwell Fields scored two quick goals to take the lead. Milan pulled one back with a powerful free kick from the edge of the box, giving The Grange renewed hope. Unfortunately, Hanwell struck again just before half-time, with a deflected effort finding its way into the net.
The boys did not let this setback affect them in the second half. They created several good chances, but the ball simply would not go into the net. Congratulations to Hanwell Fields, who were an excellent team and deserved the trophy on the day.
After last year’s semi-final defeat on penalties and this year’s loss in the final, the boys involved have made The Grange proud with their performances, effort, determination and ability to never give up

Some of our Y3/4s went to Bicester Clip 'n Climb on Friday to take part in a North Oxfordshire School Sport Partnership Climbing for Confidence Event. They had a great time and showed plenty of determination, resilience and confidence as they took on the speed wall, stairway to heaven, astroball, face-to-face challenge and many more. Well done Team Grange!

Dashwood 2
The Grange 3 – Ethan, Noah, Arlo
This was a fantastic semi-final, albeit a very tense one, to watch and be part of. The Grange started strongly in the first half, going 3–0 up through Ethan’s long goal kick and composed finishes from Noah and Arlo.
The 3–0 lead meant that Dashwood were able to bring an extra player on. After half-time, this swung the momentum, with Dashwood utilising the extra player to pull a goal back. This momentum continued when the game returned to 7 vs 7, as they added another goal to their tally.
At this point, The Grange stood firm and began to gain more possession as Dashwood dropped deeper once again. The boys held on and finished the game strongly, securing their place in the final.
Thank you to Dashwood for making it such an exciting and competitive game. The boys will now play either Hanwell Fields or Cropredy in the final after half-term.
