Wishing a Happy Mothers Day to all of you amazing mums especially the amazing ladies who are mummies to all of my beautiful little explorers 🥰You are all doing such an amazing job and these little people are all a credit to you 💕 Thank you for all being incredible mummies & also for making my job easier by all being so lovely 😀 but mostly thank you for letting me be a part of these amazing little peoples lives & letting me watch them grow into the most beautiful little characters 💕I hope you have all enjoyed your special day as you all deserve it. 🥰

Although it’s been another crazy year I have loved every minute of it with all of you very special little people, you all make me so proud & I have enjoyed watching you all grow into the clever, funny, caring & just overall amazing little individuals you all are ❤️ I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas Eve boxes & have a lovely day tomorrow with your families, I can’t wait to hear all about it & about the lovely gifts Santa leaves for you 🎅🏼 I look forward to creating lots more happy memories with you all next year.

Sorry we have been a little quiet, we are still here just been busy enjoying ourselves 😁 promise we will start updating the page more often ❤️

So it would seem I didn’t take loads of pictures last week but here is a few showing a little bit of our week. So we started the week with our newest little explorer having his first day 😀, Little Miss 32months was very excited to have her little brother join us (we finally have a little boy after being all girls for so long) Little Miss 32months & Little Miss 3years really enjoyed helping him find all the toys he might like 🥰, which then led them both on to asking what they was like when they was little, what toys did they like & things they used to do as babies 👶🏻 . Little Mr 12months is a very relaxed calm little boy & settled in perfectly 💙. We of course enjoyed lots of trips to the park in all the different weather we had last week ☀️🌧⚡️. We enjoyed playing with some of our new scented play dough & our new rollers especially the bug ones 🕷. We then had a number 🔢 tuff tray activity set up which they enjoyed counting out the gold coins 🪙 to match the numbers. These little explorers are really enjoying role play at the moment so I set a vets 🐾up for them & they loved it, they both fully took on led roles & other than me setting it up it was fully child led activity, it’s also so lovely to see just how caring these little explorers are🥰. We then set up a bee 🐝 tuff tray using rice & our number bees, they loved this & enjoyed talking about their understanding of how important bees are and he jobs they do in our environment 🍯we also enjoyed reading our books 📚 all about bees. Then Friday Little Miss 3years had a day off to go on an adventure with mummy & daddy 👨‍👩‍👧 so me & Little Miss 35months had a day of just us which resulted in playing hide & seek, going out for a treat & going out on her bike 🏍 Another fun & busy week for us all. 💕

So with last week being mental health awareness week we done lots of activities based around our feelings and the feelings of others, we talked lots about the things that make us feel certain ways including what makes us happy 😀 i was so proud when each of them said “coming to Emma’s” makes them happy, I could have cried happy tears 🥰 hearing them all say it as it made me realise I’m actually doing a good job with these little explorers. We done some number recognition 🔢, some puzzles 🧩 , which they then turned the number train into a real train 🚂 that took them on some fun adventures. Of course we visited a few parks throughout the week. These little explorers wanted to play nurses 👩‍⚕️ again so we set our hospital 🏥 up again which they loved. We got ourselves a new play till so of course they wanted to set up a shop 🏬 , they made a sign for their shop & we set everything out & then they began playing taking it in turns to be the shop keeper & the customer🛒, they used the pictures to make shopping lists & some of the things were a little over priced I got charged £42 for bread & cereal 😳, they had so much fun with this they asked me to keep it set up for the next day so that’s what we done & they had just as much fun as the day before. We had such an amazing week. 🥰

What have we been up to the last couple of weeks, well here goes;
We set up our very own hospital 🏥 last week to celebrate nurses 👩‍⚕️ week, the little explorers loved this set up & enjoyed taking it in turns to take on each role, they all had great ideas to keep the play going I was very impressed when Little Miss 35months grabbed the camera 📷 to take an x-ray . We done some baking 🧑‍🍳 which they really enjoyed & they are so independent in the process now I am really only needed to operate the oven now. We have done lots of painting 🧑‍🎨 , drawing ✏️ & colouring, we enjoyed visiting lots of parks, they made me climb a big steep hill as they was curious what was at the top, we enjoyed playing in the garden . We also enjoyed playing farms 🐄, and we enjoyed our bear hunt 🐻 tuff tray, these little explorers also enjoyed making their very own tuff tray set up using the road & rail tape 🚗. We played some games, not quite sure we get how snap ♠️ works just yet, we need more practice at this one. They also forgot to give me the heads up that Thursday was wear something stripey day!!! That’s just a couple of the things we’ve been up to, now to start another new week ❤️

Not had the chance to post for the last couple of weeks as been so busy 😴Here is a few pics of what we’ve been up to. Most of our time has been spent either in the garden or at a park enjoying the nice weather ☀️, these little explorers just want to be outside. So a fair few of the pictures are of them enjoying a park, we even had our first picnic 🧺 of the year last week which they was so excited about. We set up a bug 🐛 exploring table but then realised it was more fun using the magnifying glass 🔍 to find real bugs 🐜 . We also enjoyed some water play 💦. They are also obsessed with the extra large squashy ball, the giggles from these explorers bouncing off these ball was honestly the best sound ever 🥰, they had so much fun. Then the ice cream van went past so of course I had to treat them to their favourite treat 🍦. These explorers have also discovered barbies 😳 Then last week of course we had to make a picture of the queen 👑 to celebrate her 🎂 . Then we used the week to learn about the life cycle of frogs 🐸 after going and looking at the frog spawn in my neighbours pond, they have really enjoyed this especially the tuff tray I made of a pond , I didn’t think they would like the texture of the frog spawn I made but they loved it. We also made a den in the garden & they also enjoyed making themselves a fruit salad 🍓 for snack. So another lovely couple of very busy but fun weeks. ❤️

Even though last week was another 4 day week we managed to fit so much in, here is just a little bit of what we got up to. We planted our sunflower 🌻 seeds which they was all very excited about (now fingers crossed they all grow 😬) we also enjoyed playing with the playdoh outside, we didn’t really do playdoh that much as all these little explorers had no interest in it but I’ve started to reintroduce it every so often & they seem to be really enjoying it so will plan a few more activities using it again. We was lucky enough to get some new puzzles 🧩 which are based on 2 of our favourite books so the explorers really enjoyed doing them. We also done some painting 🧑‍🎨& used a potato masher to do some Easter egg 🥚 printing (so difficult to find a potato masher anywhere!!!!!) as well as just doing some free painting. We also done some drawings ✏️ & one of their new favourite things to do is draw a picture & then do mark making around the picture pretending to either write a story about the picture or write what they have drawn it is so cute hearing them say random letters 🔤 to spell words, the letter O seems to be a favourite to write. They also love drawing round their hands 🙌🏻 little miss 38months was struggling to draw round hers so little miss 34 months stepped in to offer some help 🥰 we also enjoyed a few different tuff tray set ups including matching shapes (although I think they enjoyed cleaning 🧽 the chalk off more than the activity) we used the number bees 🐝 to do some number recognition & counting, & they we had to save all the Easter animals 🐇from an Easter web they really enjoyed this one. We also enjoyed a nice walk & of course had to throw some sticks 🪵 in the water. I love the little friendship these little explorers have. 💕

So last week was another busy week (also was only a 3 day week for us) we started our week by having a trip to the big park, seeing the boats 🚤 & even enjoying a picnic snack (didn’t get many pictures) then we played in the garden enjoying the nice sunshine 🌞 while playing in the play house 🏡 & some water play 🎣. When we wasn’t playing at the parks or in the garden we enjoyed doing lots of Easter 🐣 crafts, these little explorers really enjoyed making some Easter hats . Their favourite thing was the Easter egg 🥚 hunt, they loved this and once they found them all they made me hide the eggs 3 more times & I had a worrying moment on the last go when I just couldn’t remember where I had hid that last egg 😳. My favourite part was the egg & spoon races, I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much 🤣 we had a few false starts, a few non movers from the start line but most of all lots of dropped eggs & toddlers rolling around the floor, I’m already looking forward to doing a mini sports day in the summer if these races were anything to go by it will be eventful. Then one of the explorers very kind daddy brought everyone an ice cream 🍨 treat to enjoy as you can see everyone was very happy with these. Another lovely week with these little explorers I hope they all had a lovely Easter & enjoyed all their treats from the Easter bunny 🐰

Yet again been a bit rubbish with posting on here lately as just keep running out of time. So these are pics from the week before last 🙈 Our week consisted of some colour matching, trips to the park , lots of running around with our new balls ⚽️ , some happyland play, fun on our new trampoline . We also enjoyed playing with the ladybugs 🐞 & doing some number recognition & counting 🔢, we enjoyed playing with our new very large sorting tubes, some gluing to make beautiful pictures , some painting 🧑‍🎨& some singing with the musical instruments 🎶 this is just a few of the things we got up to.

So last week looked a little bit like this....
We loved our new flower 🌻garden making activity perfect timing for spring, these little explorers have been so excited for spring to arrive (they love a new season) we done some number recognition 🔢 & counting with the number bees🐝. As well as our first trip of the week to the park. We made a farm activity 🐄, Little Miss 33months loved helping set this table up, they are all really enjoying having little jobs to do at the minute & it makes tidying up much easier for me as they all like to help if I give them all their own little job 😊, as you can see sometimes they get distracted but they had so much fun covering their hands in split peas. We are also loving learning letters 🔠 & they love to do writing✏️, so these books have been a great hit with practicing their pen control. Little Miss 38months is doing so well at doing the letters for her name💕. We had a few more trips to the park. Then of course we celebrated St Patrick’s Day ☘️ with this tuff tray activity. We got a new space hopper which they absolutely love. We played our shopping list 🛒 game & also we made a game of catching the ball ⚽️& once they caught the ball they had to find the letter that I called out as you can imagine this got a bit crazy but they loved it 😆 We also done our favourite puzzle 🧩& once completed they done their little dance to the song. Put little Cinderella to work aswell 🧹We then used our wooden phonic characters & letters in an activity with some chick peas 🔠 as these explorers are still fairly young for phonics I’m just going at their pace & following their interests, but as you can see they liked finding the first letter of each character & they are now so proud of themselves as they can sound out the letters to spell Cat 🐈 , such clever little explorers 💕
