Kicknsplash is a swim school that has small teaching groups with our teachers and helpers in the water with the little ones at all times. We teach on a Saturday at Bloxham and Abingdon School Pools and Buckland Memorial Hall Swimimg Pool everyday. Buckland will open in Summer 2017 once or new refurbishment is complete.

🌍 More than 70% of the Earth’s surface is covered by water, yet many people never learn basic water safety skills.
This is why we take part in Drowning Prevention Week and teach Water Safety in all of our lessons.
What do you notice? 🤔
This child is floating comfortably on their back fully clothed, including shoes. Real-life water emergencies can happen when we aren’t dressed for swimming. That’s why practicing essential survival skills in everyday clothing is so important.

🛟🌊 Drowning Prevention Week is in full swing! 🌊🛟
This week is all about raising awareness and sharing vital water safety messages that could save lives.
Whether you’re spending time at the pool, beach, lake, river, or canal, remember:
✅ Never swim alone
✅ Supervise children at all times near water
✅ Learn how to float and call for help
✅ Know what to do in an emergency
A few simple precautions can make all the difference. Let’s work together to keep our families, friends, and communities safe around water.

The week the children worked incredibly hard and completed a distance swim. All of the children achieved a further distance than last time with most of them completing a Half Mile or a 1 Mile swim. 🏆💪🏼
We are super proud of how the children rose to the challenge and pushed themselves to keep going! Well done everyone ☺️

🛟Drowning Prevention Week🛟
Monday 15th June - Sunday 21st June we will be taking part in Drowning Prevention Week at all locations.
All children need to wear pyjamas/clothes and attempt the lesson without goggles.
Why it’s important?
🌊 Drowning can happen quickly and silently.
🌊 Many incidents occur in everyday locations such as rivers, lakes, canals, beaches and even at home.
🌊 Knowing what to do in an emergency can make all the difference.
Together, we can raise awareness, prevent accidents, and help keep our families and communities safe around water. 💙
