When you invite one of the UK’s top 50 changemakers to PA High School, meaningful conversations follow.
This term, Sal Naseem, former Director of London at the Independent Office for Police Conduct, visited our secondary school to deliver a powerful and inspiring assembly to our Year 10 students.
His visit encouraged pupils to reflect on identity, resilience, leadership, and the importance of speaking up for yourself. Students especially valued the interactive format, sharing how much they appreciated hearing about different life experiences and being actively involved throughout the session.
At PA High School, opportunities like this help our students build confidence, develop self-awareness, and connect learning to the wider world.
A huge thank you to Sal Naseem for visiting PA High and reinforcing the importance of authenticity, courage, and finding your true north.

What did you want to be when you were younger? 🤔
Highfield Year 6 pupils had wonderfully ambitious answers, from pilots and accountants to even working with the FBI! Last week, they had the amazing opportunity to connect with inspiring members of our community, including West Midlands Police, Make Change bwbc, and our very own Prince Albert Community Trust.
Throughout the morning, our pupils took part in interactive workshops: learning to take the perfect picture with the PACT marketing team, trying on police uniforms, and even warming up with a few boxing combinations!
Thank you to everyone that made it out to showcase what kind of opportunities are out there to explore! We’re so excited to see all that our pupils will achieve in the future, and we’re proud to support them in every way we can to help turn their dreams into reality
