Alignment can be tough, it’s not easy to set yourself exactly at your target, I’ve struggled in the past and it’s still a battle today 🛤️
Here are 5️⃣ things that I use every single time I play to keep my alignment in check.
It’s also not a given, it needs to be practiced and trained just like any other part of the game…. Put the work in and you’ll see the results!

If you duff or thin your chips it’s likely that you are making 1 or more of these 4 common errors
❌Not enough weight forward
❌Not stood close enough
❌Not moving the club back steep enough
❌Not moving up and away from the ground
Check your technique, apply the right fix and bingo all sorted

Keep it super simple, focus on these 3 things and bunker play suddenly won’t feel that hard 👊
You’ve probably been told at some point to make sure you’re accelerating through the ball when putting…. But that short to long stroke is not something you ever see great players do
The backswing and the through swing lengths should match, even a little shorter on the way through, but definitely avoiding the super long accelerated end position.
Create the distance with length of stroke not acceleration
