Congratulations to our Bronze Duke of Edinburgh students who successfully completed their qualification expedition this week! We are very proud of you!

This week we have said goodbye to our class of 2026! It seems like five minutes ago that some of them were in our Poppets department - now we send them on their way to new adventures as amazing young adults! Enjoy Thorpe Park tomorrow making more memories!

A message from our Chair of Governors on International Thank a Teacher Day.

"I have the pleasure of seeing first-hand the dedication, care, patience and passion that goes into educating, supporting and inspiring our pupils every single day. Teaching is not simply about lessons, marks or exams; it is about shaping confidence, character, curiosity and kindness, truly embracing our founders ethos of “Actions, not words”.

At Priory, that commitment begins with our youngest children, so I would also like to give a special thank you to our Nursery and Poppets team, who provide such an important, caring and nurturing start to school life.

I would also like to recognise the wider Priory team behind the team: our Housekeeping Team, Chefs, Catering Team, Facilities Team, Grounds Maintenance Team, Finance, Reception and Admin colleagues. Schools do not run on teaching alone. They run because of the collective effort of many dedicated professionals, often working quietly behind the scenes, who make sure our children are safe, cared for, welcomed, fed, supported and able to learn in the best possible environment.

So today, my thanks are first and foremost to everyone at Priory School Edgbaston. You are appreciated more than you know.

And more widely, thank you to all teachers, nursery practitioners, support staff and school teams wherever you are. The work you do matters. The difference you make lasts far beyond the classroom.

Congratulations to Nikita who was awarded ‘Most Dynamic Shapes’ in the ISA Arts Digital Art competition.

Congratulations to all of our Year 9 Duke of Edinburgh students who successfully completed their bronze practice expedition in the wilds of the Lickey Hills this week!

Well done to the pupils who performed in Morning, Music and Muffins. An excellent display of talent.

What a phenomenal achievement from our Year 7 & Year 8 LAMDA students, in achieving an exceptional set of results with 61% awarded a Distinction & 39% awarded a Merit - our best ever LAMDA results!

Congratulations to students & staff on their hard work, commitment & dedication - we are immensely proud of your achievements!

LAMDA is taught as a dedicated subject , helping students develop confidence, communication skills, performance techniques & public speaking abilities that will serve them well both inside & beyond the classroom.

Well done to Chaeyoon in Year 6 who won first place in her catagory in the Book Cover design competition.🎨✏️

At Priory School Edgbaston, we are deeply saddened to hear the news regarding the closure of Ruckleigh School in Solihull. Our thoughts are with the whole school community, in what we know will be an incredibly difficult time.
