Our T Level Media, Broadcast and Production students, together with Sandwell College students, recently took part in a two-day work experience opportunity at Edgbaston Stadium.π₯
Led by sports broadcaster and live event presenter Lara Davies, students gained valuable insight into the world of sports broadcasting and live events, learning more about her career journey and industry experience.
The two days included a behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium, where students explored media interview rooms, hospitality suites and the production side of live sporting events, including how big-screen displays are operated.
Students also took part in scripting and presentation activities, building their confidence and communication skills, as well as a Q&A session with professional cricketer Davina Perrin.π
A fantastic opportunity to gain real industry experience and develop skills beyond the classroom π
