Sometimes, support is all you need. 💡

Taylor Stephenson is still on her apprenticeship journey with Tend training. As she prepares for her End-Point Assessment (EPA) and the successful completion of her programme, Taylor credits her colleagues at Leonard Cheshire and her Tend training Development Coach with playing a pivotal role in her success.

“They’ve had a huge impact during my apprenticeship," Taylor shared. "Without them, it wouldn’t have been achievable for me.”

Congratulations, learners! 🏆

Our team has attended the awards at Skills for Health in London today, where 2 of our learners were honoured!

Ethan Marshall of Practice Plus Group, and Kathryn Robinson of Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV won the Silver and Bronze awards in the Apprentice of the Year category. Both were recognised as rising stars who go above and beyond in their roles, and act as advocates for apprenticeships to those considering their future career.

Congratulations to Ethan and Kathryn for this amazing achievement, and to their Development Coaches, Leslie Tillyard and Melanie Paragreen, and their IQAs Joy Baker RGN, PGCE, and Sian Brown.

Go Paula, go!! 🏃💨

Tend training Curriculum Specialist, Paula Gower, has been working towards a very special goal. She has committed to running a total of 33 miles - more than a marathon - in aid of Dementia UK!

Paula is completing the challenge for 2 important reasons. To honour the memory of her Father, who sadly lost his battle with the disease; and to support her Uncle, who is currently on his Dementia journey.

Celebrating 100 Helping Hands Home Care learners! ⭐

Our team went along to Helping Hands - Ellesmere Port to present Rebecca Cretu her Learner of the Quarter award, and to celebrate and she was also Helping Hand's 100th Learner to complete their apprenticeship with Tend training!

Helping Hands' Learning & Development Manager, Simon King was there to deliver the certificate. Rebecca's Development Coach shared that she worked incredibly hard complete her Level 2 Adult Care Worker apprenticeship in just 12 months, and should be very proud to have achieved a Merit for her End-Point Assessment (EPA).

Today's the day! 🏃‍♂️💨

Starting this rainy Monday morning, David Smith of Impact Futures Group will run more than a marathon per day for 5 days straight - and he's doing it all for charity.

Covering 30 miles per day this week, totalling 150 miles, 'Super Dave' is raising money for two terrific causes - Hft and Early Lives - and you can help maximise the impact of his efforts!
