Big shout out to Team Bartons staff who raised £1297 on the St. Wilfred’s hospice Moonlight Walk (10 miles) at the weekend. Thank you to those of you who donated for a very worthy cause. Go team! ❤️

Update to the road works

𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟮 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲

Please see the updated phasing for Phase 2. Unfortunately the County Council came across issues with the previous plans of shutting Lethaby Road for the entirety of Phase 2. So revised plans had to be drawn up. Please see the plans passed onto me by WSCC.

🟠𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝘄𝗼(𝗮) 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟮𝟮 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀.

𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: working on Chichester Road from The Boulevard to the junction of Newbarn Lane.

𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀: during this phase, The Boulevard junc on with Chichester Road will be closed – vehicle access will be via Elbridge Avenue.

🔵𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝘄𝗼(𝗯) 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟲 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀

𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: working on Chichester Road from the junc on of Newbarn Lane to Bucksham Avenue.

𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀: vehicle access to Newbarn Lane will be from the east side of the closure and Bucksham Avenue from west side from the closure. Lethaby Road closed.

🟣𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝘄𝗼(𝗰) 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟮𝟬 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀

𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: working between the junctions of Bucksham Avenue and Brazwick Avenue.

𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀: during this phase, Bucksham Avenue will be accessible from the east side of the closure and Brazwick Avenue will be accessible from the west side of the closure. Lethaby Road closed.

🩵𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝘄𝗼(𝗱) – 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟯 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀.

𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: works will take place from Brazwick Avenue to Loats Lane.

𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 arrangements for Brazwick Avenue, petrol station and ASDA are still being assessed due to the location of the gas main; further updates will be provided once plans are confirmed. Lethaby Road closed.
