THIS IS FOREST SCHOOL 🌳 Super proud to post our bird box update! 🐣 Taking it back to January this year, where the children made bird boxes for the forest and we also took part in the big bird watch 👀, encouraging the children to care for the array of birds that are within the nursery garden, forest and community. 🪱Well… fast forward to now where blue t**s have hatched in the children’s hand made bird boxes! 💙 The children (and staff) are so happy to of observed the blue t**s grow and especially notice their change in colour over the last few forest school sessions. 🪶 We can’t wait to continue this wonderful learning. ⭐️

Our latest project has been our baby & toddler garden 🐝 A great transformation which has included doubling the size of the area and the addition of new equipment such as bikes and trikes. 🚲

We are waiting on our final pieces to arrive so that the garden will have its own sensory space to explore sound, light, smell and texture. ☀️

The class have been making it very much their own by growing strawberries and sunflowers ready for summer! 🍓 🌻

Christmas Carols @ Bardfield Montessori. 🎅🏽

This afternoon all of our families came to nursery to listen to the children singing Christmas songs and to eat a Christmas tea.

We had yummy Christmas themed pizza: chicken, stuffing and cranberry as well as pigs in blankets 😋

We were also trusted with two of Santa’s helpers to surprise the children with.
