⚠️ School closure - Update

Repairs have been carried out to the hot water system and appear to have been successful. We anticipate the hot water returning to normal and acceptable standards by tomorrow. Therefore, we aim for school to be open as usual tomorrow.

We will, of course, monitor the situation closely and if there are any changes, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Some important information was sent out via Parentmail today about Free School Meal eligibility.

Due to recent changes in the government's guidance of Free School Meal eligibility:

➡️ All existing free school meal eligibility will reset at the start of September 2026 - there is not an automatic transfer to the new system

➡️ All parents and carers need to complete the required form sent out via Parentmail

➡️ All learners need to be run through the free school meal checker to see if they are eligible for free school meals from September 2026

➡️ If we do not receive a completed form for your child and they have previously been entitled to free school meals, they will not have eligibility as from September 2026.

Please complete the Free School Meal eligibility form sent via Parentmail as soon as possible but no later than Monday 8th June 2026.
