We’ve had a wonderful return to the new school year and welcome families to attend school Mass this morning at 9.30am
Children from Yr1-6 will attend.

We are looking forward to a day of Christmas fun in St Francis!

“Well Done” to all of our Year 1 and Year 2 children who did two fantastic shows yesterday to their parents and families. We all really enjoyed Hey Ewe! and it has definitely got us ready for Christmas!

Today Yr1 had a visit from some exotic animals to support their science curriculum. They had a chance to ask questions of the handlers and stroke the owl and snake. What an amazing experience!

Safe trip home everyone!

Year 6 arrived at the Montague Hotel in the Isle of Wight. Unpacking then off to the beach.

Year 6, all arrived safe and well at Portsmouth running late thanks to the M25 and A3 closure.

Religious Focus
This week the children have discussed how we should consider people’s feelings when we spread rumours or gossip. The children also thought very carefully about the need to be forgiving towards others.

Next Week
*The Year 6 staff, Mr Walker and Mrs Maguire-Egan will be escorting the Year 6 children to the Isle of Wight for their residential trip. We are predicted good weather and we hope the
children have a wonderful time. Don’t forget to pack their sun cream!
*Our Year 5 children have a taster session at Tabor Academy on Wednesday morning.
*The Reception children will be going on a school trip to Tropical Wings on Friday.
