National Thank a Teacher Day is back on Wednesday 17th June 2026, and this year there is plenty to get involved with, whether you want to celebrate a colleague, access free classroom resources or simply take a moment to feel appreciated for everything you do.

The day is a UK-wide celebration of everyone who works in education, and that means all. Teachers, teaching assistants, support staff, librarians, dinner staff and everyone in between.

Madeleine is heading towards the completion of her training in becoming an Art and Design teacher and is set to gain QTS in June. She is placed at Moulsham High School, where she will also be starting her Early Career Teacher years there.

She said: "MEITT has given me high-quality teacher trainee that I cannot fault. I feel so well supported as a teacher trainee and am so glad I went with this provider. This year has been so informative, enlightening and exciting! I will look back on my time with MEITT and forever think fondly."
