Non-Uniform Day – Friday 19th June

In exchange for your child(ren) wearing their own clothes on Friday 19th June, we are asking children to bring in a colour-themed item that matches the colour their class has been given, or something that represents summer fun and games. These items will help us create our rainbow hampers for the Summer Raffle and tombola prizes.

We’ve put together a poster with some colour inspiration to help get you started (these are just suggestions!).

Summer Fun – Antelopes, Bears, Crocodiles, Dolphins and Elephants
💗 Pink – Flamingos
💛 Yellow – Giraffes
💙 Blue – Hippos
💚 Green – Iguanas
❤️ Red – Jaguars
🧡 Orange – Kangaroos

If you would prefer to make a cash donation instead, this will go towards a cash prize for the raffle. The raffle and tombola will take place at the Colour Run event.

Please do not send in products containing nuts, as we are a nut-free school. We would also prefer no chocolate due to potential hot weather.

⏰ Colour Run Consent Deadline – Thursday 11th June

The deadline to complete the Colour Run consent form is this Thursday (11th June).

This is a FREE event for all Beckers Green children, but without a completed consent form, your child will not be able to take part.

Consent for Beckers Green pupils must be completed via Arbor (under activities, then under trips). If you are having any difficulty accessing Arbor, please contact or visit the school office before Thursday so they can help.

For parents, carers and family members wishing to take part, paper consent forms are available from the school office. The cost for this event is £5 per person.

Please note that if you wish for your child to take part, you will need to provide consent before the deadline. We will not accept any consent forms after Thursday 11th June, and I am unable to accept consent via email.

The weather gods were kind to us today after all the rain this week. Thank you to everyone that came to our inflatable event, it was so lovely to see so many people chilling on the field while the children had fun.

Thank you so much to our volunteers on the refreshments stall, and everyone behind the scenes. We couldn't put events on without you.

Wristbands on sale outside the hall this morning.

£8 per wristband.

Inflatables Event – Friday 5th June

Join us after school for a fun-filled afternoon on the field! We’ll have six inflatables and two rides for the children to enjoy.

Families are welcome to bring along picnics, blankets and chairs to relax while the children play and grown-ups catch up.

Refreshments will be available to purchase, including ice lollies and ice creams.

• Event runs from 3:30pm to 5:30pm
• Wristbands are £8 per child and will be available to purchase the day before and on the day of the event.

Important Info:

🔴 All children must be supervised by an adult, including Year 5 and 6 pupils who might normally walk home. The PTA and school cannot take responsibility for children after school hours.

🔴 This event is for children aged 11 and under. There are no inflatables specifically for under-4s, although younger children are welcome to use them. Please bear this in mind when purchasing a wristband for younger children. If you’re unsure, feel free to ask when purchasing.

🔴 No alcohol or dogs allowed on site.

🌧️🌪️ In the event of poor weather, we may need to reschedule or cancel the event. Any changes will be communicated via Arbor.

Update on Inflatable event on Friday.

Currently the weather on Friday says no rain. We will need to inspect the field on Friday morning to see how wet it is and then if the forecast for the day is still ok we will make a decision on if it is safe to hold the event.

If we go ahead then wristbands can be brought outside the school hall at drop off and on the field in the afternoon.
