I was blown away by this review sent to me in my DM's.
This young woman had messaged me to ask if my book would be okay to read if she had previously had an eating disorder as she didn't want to re-trigger it. I was honest and said I didn't know, it could depend on what inner work she had done around her eating previously.
Then we discovered she was a former student!
I'm truly honoured that she trusted me to buy and read my book and now that she's trusted me with her story. I have her permission to share.
I'm only sorry I didn't know what she was going through at the time. Yet I didn't have the skills and knowledge I have now to have helped then.
An incredible journey discovering just how many women of such a range of ages my book can help...

The most common reasons for not achieving our goals are:
- no plan so we lose focus and get distracted
- overwhelm - so we prioritise critical over important, we have 'too much' and 'too little'
- procrastination - can be linked to self-doubt so we put off the risks we need to take
- putting others first - our boundaries are unclear
- not being clear on what is important to us - our values
- lack of accountability - allows us to excuse ourselves for not doing what we said we would do
I have covered all these topics in the videos and our coaching/mentoring sessions and hope you feel confident moving forward with your goal.
Come with a plan outline and any questions on Wednesday - add dates or detail to the steps in your six-month passion planner review - clarity is key to success 😊
You may want to check out your personality type when it comes to achieving goals. If you're an obliger type, accountability is absolutely key, so what would that look like? If you're a questioner, what are the barriers that are getting in your way to making progress?
Really looking forward to our last session on Wednesday. This is the link

The Four Tendencies Quiz - The Four Tendencies Quiz
One of the daily challenges of life is: “How do I get people—including myself—to do what I want?” The Four Tendencies framework makes this task much easier by revealing whether a person is an Upholder, Questioner, Obliger, or Rebel.

I often see displays like this in schools. How do you make sure that language choice is used to promote healthy thinking around success, achievement and failure?
It takes more than a display to create a school culture of possibility, of persistence, of perseverance and purpose.
The language we use both reflects and affects our thinking. What does the language used in your classroom reflect? And what would be more effective?
If you'd like to find out more about NLP and how it benefits classroom practitioners, message me and we can explore how I can help.

Has your school adopted the Staff Wellbeing Charter and committed to “placing wellbeing and mental health at the heart of your decision making"?
How far have you got implementing policies and practices to make it a reality rather than a pledge on your website or a laminated sign in the staff room?
One of Ofsted’s commitments is to review whether the framework is having inadvertent impacts on staff wellbeing, for example, creating unnecessary workload.
My Stress Management Workshop supports staff to take responsibility for their own and other people’s wellbeing, part of which is about rethinking and reframing workload.
A self-confessed workaholic and perfectionist, I spent years working long hours and believing that working hard and long hours was the secret to success.
Now I think and work very differently and love to share what I have learned and do differently to help others in education.
Reducing our stress improves our wellbeing and our productivity so it's a win-win.
