Busy Beavers Day Nursery

Good evening parents/carers

Just a quick message to say it was my last day today at busybeavers before I go on maternity leave It has been a lovely year and thank you to our lovely families for the gifts. Thank you too the staff for all your hard work and dedication ❤️ and I will miss you all during my time off. I will be sure to stay in touch and visit during my maternity leave until my return 🙂

I am now handing over the page to Anne-Marie whilst I am on maternity leave.

Can you help rescue the tangled spiders?! This helped children focus on their fine motor and pincer grip skills as they tried to dodge the web and save the spiders 🕷️

We have had one confirmed case of hand foot and mouth

Busybeavers are trying to help the local community as much as we can we are asking for some donations if anyone is in the position to help us 🙂

This week we also learnt about foods we like and dislike. The children really enjoyed this activity and enjoyed talking about which foods they love and which food they don’t like 🥘 🍲 🍫

This week the children enjoyed measuring different items. We learnt about the words heavy, light, big, little. We tried to find which items were the lightest and which items were the heaviest ⚖️

Our autumn tree 🌲 🎃 🍁 🍂

On Wednesday the children put their scissor skills to the test. The used their dominant hands to snip along the tricky lines trying to follow the pattern this helps develop their scissor skills as well as their gross and fine motor skills too. ✂️
