What an exciting day we had at nursery today! 🚓👮
The police came to visit us and talk to the children about their important role in helping our community. The children had lots of fun exploring the police car, sitting inside it, and even trying on some of the police uniforms!
The officers also kindly left us some pictures to colour in, and every child received a sticker to take home. It was a fantastic experience that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
A big thank you to our local police officers for taking the time to visit us and make the day so special! 😊

What a lovely day we had at the zoo today! 🦁🐒
The children learnt all about the different animals, including what they eat and how long they live. They really enjoyed exploring and seeing all the amazing animals up close. One of the highlights of the day was seeing the adorable baby chimpanzee! 🐵💛

This month in Speech Club, we’ve been having lots of fun building our communication skills! 💬✨

From naming foods and describing tastes to playful games and conversations at mealtimes, there are lots of easy ways to encourage talking in everyday moments.

We had a wonderful time celebrating Easter together before the break. The children thoroughly enjoyed the activities and festive atmosphere!
A big thank you to Kayleigh and Sandra for the fantastic food they prepared for our celebration – it was truly appreciated by everyone. 💛

We had such a lovely day at nursery yesterday! 🌱🐸
The children enjoyed learning all about the life cycles of both plants and animals. To bring our learning to life, we explored a fun, hands-on jelly play activity inspired by a pond scene, complete with frogs and other pond creatures.
We also got busy planting our own plants and watering them, helping the children understand how plants grow and what they need to thrive. It was wonderful to see their curiosity and excitement as they took care of the plants.
A fantastic day full of learning, creativity, and exploration! 💚

What a busy and exciting week we had last week at nursery! 🌟
We started the week with a fantastic trip to Colchester Zoo, where the children had a wonderful time exploring and seeing lots of amazing animals. 🦒🐒
We also enjoyed a lovely spring walk in Bocking Gardens, taking in the fresh air and early signs of spring. 🌸
During the week we visited the residents at Braintree Mews Care Home to join Stella for a fun Jo Jingles session. It was a lovely experience sharing music, smiles and time together. 🎶
For World Book Day, the children (and adults!) dressed up as their favourite story characters. We had so many brilliant costumes and lots of fun celebrating our love of books – our team even dressed as the Wizard of Oz! 📚✨

💖 Happy Valentine’s Day! 💖
Even though we’re not in nursery today, we’re still sending lots of love and warm wishes to all of our wonderful children and families. ❤️

Earlier this week, the children had such a lovely time making their Valentine’s cards and choosing their special gifts to take home. They were so proud of what they created, and we hope their cards and little surprises have made you smile today! 🥰

We’ve shared a sweet photo in a heart-shaped frame to celebrate the kindness, friendships and love that we see every day.
