At Chrysalis Montessori, we offer a unique early years setting that combines the warmth and cosiness of a home-from-home environment with a child-centred approach guided by authentic Montessori principles and pedagogy.

As two degree-qualified Montessori educators, we are passionate about inclusion, attachment-based care, and creating a nurturing space where children feel secure, valued, and free to learn at their own pace.

We are currently meeting families interested in a September start and would be delighted to welcome you for a visit.

To ensure a calm, high-quality experience for every child, we welcome a maximum of six families per day, meaning spaces are limited.

Dear parents,

We offer a home-based Montessori experience designed to feel calm, nurturing, and intentionally prepared. Our environments are thoughtfully curated to support each child’s independence, confidence, and natural curiosity.

With a low ratio of 1:3, we ensure every child receives attentive, individualised care. Our setting is led by degree-qualified Montessori practitioners who bring both expertise and a gentle, respectful approach.

We provide freshly prepared, home-made meals, supporting children’s wellbeing through a wholesome daily rhythm.

Above all, we create a calm, nourishing atmosphere where children feel secure, valued, and free to learn at their own pace.

We have a few spaces available for the summer term and would love to welcome new families into our setting. We are also now taking enquiries for children starting in September.

Chrysalis Montessori is now offering places for children aged 2 to 5 years.
To support a gentle and nurturing transition from home to nursery life, we offer morning sessions from 9:00am to 1:00pm, alongside full-day sessions to provide flexibility for parents. Morning sessions are available for children younger than 3 years only, allowing them to settle in at their own pace while building confidence in a calm, supportive environment.
We are a warm, home-based setting offering a 1:3 staff-to-child ratio, ensuring that each child’s individual needs are carefully supported. Our team is highly qualified, with degree-level and Montessori-trained practitioners.
We also provide freshly cooked hot lunches each day, and weave art and creativity throughout all areas of our curriculum, encouraging children to express themselves and explore their imagination.
