⚽️ YEAR 11 TASTER DAY ⚽️

Last week, we welcomed a fantastic group of Year 11 students in for a Taster Day, giving them the opportunity to experience what life as a Pro Direct Academy Brighton student looks and feels like.

Throughout the day, students took part in an academic lesson and workshop, experienced a football training session, and gained valuable insight into future opportunities.

We were also delighted to welcome Tommie from who delivered an excellent presentation on progression routes into USA scholarships.

It was great to have so many aspiring student-athletes join us, and we were incredibly impressed with everyone’s attitude, effort, and application throughout the day.

⚽️ Always a pleasure bumping into a former student! ⚽️

Whilst on site at the University of Sussex, we had the pleasure of catching up with former PDA Brighton student and all-round legend, Mo.

It was great to reminisce about the two fantastic years he spent with us at Pro Direct Academy Brighton Football College. Mo was a key member of our double-winning 2021/22 squad and our league-winning side in 2022, whilst also representing Seaford Town and Lewes U18s during his time with the academy.

Since completing the course, Mo has gone on to study Business and Finance at the University of Sussex, and it was fantastic to hear about the journey he's been on since leaving us.

What stood out most was hearing how much he still values his time at Pro Direct Academy and how the standards, discipline and experiences he gained here have continued to shape his life beyond football.

Always a pleasure, Mo – great to see you again. An absolute legend! 👏

A huge congratulations to two of our PDA Brighton students, Dom and Bobby! 👏

Both were selected to represent the League Representative Squad throughout the season, culminating in a fantastic showcase fixture at the home of newly promoted League One side MK Dons. 🏟️

The boys represented themselves, their teammates, and the College with professionalism, dedication, and pride. Their selection and success are a testament to the hard work, commitment, and positive attitude they have shown all season. 💪

This is just one of the many opportunities available to players at Pro:Direct Academy Brighton, helping our students develop both on and off the pitch.

Last week, Pro:Direct Academy Brighton hosted a FREE Year 11 Half Term Tournament, welcoming over 80 players from across Sussex.

The players showcased their talent, attitude, and determination throughout the day, all while competing in some of the hottest conditions we've seen so far this year. ☀️

The effort, quality, and commitment on display were outstanding, making it a truly special day for everyone involved.

A huge thank you to all the players who attended and gave their all on the pitch. We loved seeing so much talent from across the county.
