✨ Experience the transformative power of Bodyspotting with Dr. David Grand and the Brainspotting UK team in Phase 4 Brainspotting ✨💭
Did you know that Bodyspotting brings a deeply somatic dimension to Brainspotting — working directly with where experiences live in the body? By focusing on specific physical locations where clients notice sensation, tension, or activation, this approach allows for powerful, body-based processing and integration.
Rather than relying solely on eye positions, Bodyspotting bridges awareness between body and mind. Clients are guided to tune into sensations such as tightness, heaviness, or subtle internal shifts — using these “bodyspots” as gateways to access and process stored emotional experiences.
Through this dual focus of body awareness and visual connection, the brain’s natural capacity to heal is activated. As clients hold attention on both the bodyspot and corresponding eye position, the nervous system begins to release tension, reorganise, and reprocess what has been held beneath the surface.
Even deeply embedded or unspoken experiences — often beyond words or cognitive reach — can begin to shift, soften, and integrate over time.
Bodyspotting opens a powerful pathway in Brainspotting — one that honours the body’s wisdom, supports regulation, and allows for profound, grounded healing.
Whether you’re looking to deepen somatic work, access implicit memory, or expand your therapeutic presence, this approach offers an essential and impactful addition to your practice.

✨ Experience the power of The Expansion Model with Dr. David Grand and the Brainspotting UK team in Phase 4 Brainspotting✨💭
Did you know that the Expansion Model is a transformative Brainspotting approach designed to build — not just process? By working with eye positions connected to positive, resourced states, clients can expand their capacity for feelings like calm, confidence, creativity, and flow.
Rather than focusing on distress or activation, the Expansion Model strengthens the neural pathways associated with safety, resilience, and peak performance. Even states that once felt unfamiliar or out of reach can become embodied, accessible, and sustainable over time.
Through this approach, clients are guided to “spot” positions linked to supportive internal experiences — deepening these states and allowing them to fully land in the body. This can create a powerful somatic sense of truth around worthiness, capability, and focus.
The Expansion Model opens a different doorway in Brainspotting — one that amplifies what is already working, helping clients stabilise, grow, and step more fully into their potential.
Whether you’re looking to enhance self-regulation, support performance, or deepen positive embodiment, this model brings a profoundly empowering dimension to your practice.

✨ Experience the magic of Dreamspotting with Dr. David Grand & the Brainspotting UK team in Phase 4 Brainspotting✨💭
Did you know that Dreamspotting (Projected Image Spotting) is a powerful way to work with dreams, nightmares, flashbacks, and even daydreams? Dreams can act as a window into the subconscious, often holding meaningful themes connected to waking life — and even when they feel confusing or incomplete, they can still be processed.
Through Dreamspotting, clients are invited to mentally project an image of a dream and track where their eyes naturally land — allowing deep, focused processing of the emotions, sensations, and insights held within. This can unlock subconscious material that leads to relief, clarity, and breakthrough.
Phase 4 is one of the most profound steps in the Brainspotting journey — expanding not just your clinical toolkit, but the way you attune, perceive, and sit with your clients’ deepest processes.
This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from the founder of Brainspotting — to witness his process, absorb his presence, and refine your own clinical artistry in ways that ripple through every session you hold.
Whether you’re seeking to deepen your intuition, strengthen your attunement, or expand your therapeutic range, Phase 4 offers a transformative space to grow.

🔍 Mark Grixti on Why Brainspotting Is So Unique, So Powerful and the effect it has on the Western World of healing today. ✨
🌎Across the Western world, we’re seeing a profound shift in how people understand healing. For so long, the focus has been on the mind — analysing, talking, interpreting. But as trauma, disconnection, and overwhelm rise, many are recognising that true healing requires something deeper, something more embodied.
🌿Just as plant‑medicine ceremonies rely on music, nature, ritual, and safety, Brainspotting places deep emphasis on the environment. The attunement of the therapist, the stillness of the room and the sense of being held without pressure or direction.
We’re living in a time when both the planet and its people are showing signs of trauma - disconnection, dysregulation, burnout, fragmentation. Western healing is beginning to recognise that cognitive insight alone isn’t enough.🗣️

🧠✨ Free Introduction to Brainspotting With Dr Mark Grixti & the BSPUK Team 📅 9th June 2026 | 6pm – 7.30pm BST | Online via Zoom
Are you curious about working in a more attuned and deeper way with your clients?
In Brainspotting, the eyes aren’t just organs of sight — they are pathways into the deepest layers of our lived experience, where the body holds what the mind has set aside.
Brainspotting is a powerful therapeutic approach discovered by Dr David Grand that strategically utilises enhanced relational attunement and the client’s visual field to access the brain’s own self-scanning and self-healing capabilities. It opens an entirely new dimension of clinical work — and many practitioners say it transforms not only their practice but their understanding of healing itself.
But you may be wondering... 🔹 What does this actually mean in practice? 🔹 What’s the science and evidence base behind it? 🔹 How does it work with parts work and other modalities? 🔹 Can I integrate it into my way of being with my clients? 🔹 Can I use it straight after training? 🔹 What support will I receive? 🔹 How does it relate to indigenous practices?
Join Dr Mark Grixti and the BSPUK team — practitioners who use Brainspotting every day with their clients — for a FREE 90 minute introduction where all of these questions and more will be explored.

✨𝑺𝒐 𝒘𝒉𝒚 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒚𝒆𝒔 𝒔𝒐 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈? 👀
In Brainspotting, the eyes aren’t just organs of sight — they’re pathways into the deepest layers of our lived experience.
We’re always seeing with the physical eyes. But in Brainspotting, we learn to see through them — beyond the surface, into the places where the body holds what the mind has had to set aside.🧠🪄
Through the eyes, the right brain processes around 11 million bits of perceptual information per second — a vast, intuitive, embodied landscape.
The left brain, by contrast, processes around 50–65 bits per second — a much narrower, conceptual stream.
Brainspotting invites us into that wider field.✨
By using specific eye positions, we can locate how neural networks are holding information — especially the material that sits outside conscious awareness. The things that were gated out. Pushed aside for survival. Dissociated so we could keep going.👀
And when this happens in the presence of a compassionate, attuned therapist, the system feels safe enough to open.
Safe enough to reveal what’s been waiting.
Safe enough to heal.❤️🩹
Brainspotting helps us access the places the mind can’t reach alone — not by forcing, but by seeing through.🧘♂️

A deeper invitation into the intuitive, neurobiological, and spiritual dimensions of healing with Dr Mark Grixti, Clinical Psychologist and Brainspotting Master Trainer - throughout his podcast AWE IN TRAUMA✨
Throughout this podcast Mark open a wide, generous field of conversation with special guests from the healing and spiritual world. Together they explore not just one modality, but the many ways people across the healing and spiritual world understand pain, transformation, and the body’s natural intelligence.
Together, we sit with the mystery of what it means to be human: how hurt shapes us, how connection restores us, and how healing often emerges in the quiet spaces where science meets soul.
