It’s been the perfect day for making cloud dough ice creams! 🍦☀️

What a fabulous week we’ve had at playgroup! 😍

It’s the perfect day for making our own fruit kebabs and having a picnic together in the garden! 🍉🍌🍎

🥕 Today we celebrated ‘Eat Your Vegetables Day’! 🥕

The children enjoyed tasting some of the carrots they had grown in our garden at snack time! 🥕

They had lots of fun chopping, grating and cooking real vegetables in the mud kitchen, and used vegetables to create some lovely prints and artwork. 🥦🎨

We also found some bugs in the garden, and the children were excited to see them join in with the vegetable tasting too! 🐞

🌊🐚 Carrying on with our World Oceans Day celebrations, we made our own egg carton oceans today!

The children enjoyed painting their egg boxes and decorating them with seaweed, shells, stones and fish to create their own little ocean scenes.

They had lots of fun getting creative and talking about the different things you might find under the sea.

They are looking forward to taking their small world oceans home to share and play with their families! 🐠💙

Today to celebrate the World's Ocean Day we brought the ocean to the Playgroup.
Messy blue spaghetti play with all sorts of sea creatures, sorting sea theamed set, funky fish lamp, making sea horses and ocean in a bottle and water play, we still have lots of activities to go through, so this week there is more to come.
P. S. Today we learned that it's the daddy sea horse that carries the babies 😊
