Today, we attended the Our Friends of Filton Avenue Summer Fair! Thank-you Filton Avenue Primary School for the invite!

It was a brilliant event with a fantastic turnout! It was great to meet so many of you and have conversations about starting swimming lessons, staying safe around water this summer, and how, as adults, we can focus on our own You+ journey.

We can’t wait to welcome so many of you into our centres soon!

🎤✨ Oracy Showcase at Filton Avenue Primary School ✨🎤
Last week, we were delighted to welcome parents and carers into Filton Avenue Primary School for our fantastic Oracy Showcase — a celebration of pupils’ confidence, creativity and love of spoken word.
From Reception through to Year 4, children took to the stage to perform a wonderful range of poetry, impressing us all with their expression, clarity and enthusiasm. It was truly special to see their growing confidence as they shared their voices with such pride. Thanks to Maria from for being a guest judge!
We were also thrilled that a group of parents and carers had the opportunity to watch our Year 5 and Year 6 Speak Up Competition finalists, including runners-up and winners, deliver their powerful and thought-provoking speeches. Their performances were a brilliant example of the strength of pupil voice and the impact of oracy across our school.
A huge well done to all of our pupils for their hard work and bravery, and thank you to our families for coming along to support and celebrate with us.
We are so proud of our young speakers! 🌟👏

🌟🔬 MAD Science Visits Filton Avenue Primary! 🔬🌟
We were thrilled to welcome MAD Science to Filton Avenue Primary School recently for an exciting and action-packed science assembly! 🧪⚡
Our pupils were amazed by a series of fun and interactive demonstrations, truly bringing science to life. From mind-blowing reactions to fascinating forces, there were plenty of “wow” moments that sparked curiosity and excitement across the hall! 🤩
The children loved getting involved, asking questions, and seeing how science is all around us in the most unexpected ways. Experiences like this help inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators! 🚀

🌟 Golden Ticket Tea Celebration! 🌟
This week, some of our wonderful children from all phases enjoyed a very special Golden Ticket Tea with the Mr. Rodeck, Mrs. Stefanini, Mrs. McCorry and Mrs. Lackie! 🍰✨
The children were invited to celebrate their fantastic achievements and outstanding behaviour. During the tea, they had the chance to chat about their favourite things in school, sharing what makes them feel happy, proud and excited to learn. 💬📚
It was a lovely opportunity to recognise their hard work and hear their voices. We are so proud of each and every one of them – a truly well-deserved treat! 💛
