Identifying the middle sound in a CVC word can be tricky for many children. I was blown away by this learner’s progress and independent problem solving regarding this today!

1️⃣ He identified the initial and final sounds with ease.
2️⃣ The phoneme frame helped him to realise there was a sound missing. We utilised some of our tried and tested strategies until he could identify which sound was missing.
3️⃣ He re-read the word and quickly realised he needed to swap two phonemes.

What a superstar! 🤩
