🌍 Refugee Week at St Brendan’s 🕊️
As a College of Sanctuary, we marked Refugee Week by creating dedicated Sanctuary Spaces for reflection.
Our Chaplaincy and RPE teams set up five stations, each exploring themes linked to the refugee experience and encouraging thoughtful engagement.
It was great to see students taking time to reflect, share perspectives and show real compassion and understanding.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this such a meaningful experience for our community. 💜

⚽🏆 Earlier this week we hosted our first-ever Year 10 six-a-side football tournament at the St Brendan's Sports Pavilion.
We welcomed teams from Wellsway, Norton Hill and St Gregory’s, with 6 teams competing in a fantastic event 👏
A huge well done to our Year 12 students - Adi, Tilly, Ollie and Freddie - who did an amazing job refereeing throughout the event 🙌
Congratulations to Wellsway B, who took home the trophy after a dramatic penalty shoot-out! 🥇
It was great to see such positive feedback from visiting staff and students, with many impressed by our facilities and the professionalism of our student referees ⭐
