Mangotsfield C of E Primary School PTA is a registered charity and it is voluntary run by parents and teachers. It’s TOTALLY flexible!
10 reasons to support Mangotsfield Primary School PTA. This year introduces a lot of new committee members and we are really going to need people to help and support at events throughout the academic year. Here are 10 reasons to support events and enhance your child's experience at Mangotsfield Primary School.
1. The funds it raises are vital to the success of the school.
• Schools are becoming m
ore and more dependent on their funds. All reception book bags are funded annually through the PTA. Our PTA were also able to contribute a number of computer towards the new IT suit.
2. When you can spare time then let us know!
• There are a variety of small ways you can help: setting up and cleaning up at events, help throughout the events, sourcing materials… so many ways. Giving up just a small amount of your time to help the Committee will be invaluable.
• You don’t have to attend Committee meetings – just read the school weekly update and keep an eye on our page for ways you can support.
3. You’ll feel more connected
• Knowledge of events, have your say or make new fundraising suggestions – supporting teachers and staff too.
4. You’ll be part of a great network
• You will be part of a network of people who all share a common goal of improving the school for all of our children.
5. Share your skills
• By volunteering to help our team, you’ll be able to use whatever skills you have for a good cause.
6. It’s for dads, too!
• It’s important to our Committee, our school and our pupils to have dads represented on our committee too.
