🌻 Meet the Sunflower Autism Consultancy Team! 🌻

🌻 Julia Gudinchet – Founder & Director

✨ Julia is the founder and director of Sunflower Autism Consultancy and an autism and ADHD specialist with over 20 years of experience supporting neurodivergent children and their families.

✨ She has a Masters in Autism studies, is qualified to assess autism using the ADOS and has worked in mainstream & specialist provisions as well as in adult social care settings.

✨ Diagnosed with ADHD at 38, and following childhood diagnoses of dyspraxia, dyslexia and dyscalculia, Julia brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. She is also a parent to two children, including one diagnosed with ADHD.

✨ Her approach is neuro affirming, practical and rooted in genuine understanding. Julia is passionate about ensuring families feel heard, supported and equipped with strategies that make everyday life feel more manageable.

🌻 Katie Quickenden- Neurodiversity Consultant

✨ Katie joined Sunflower Autism Consultancy in 2025 and brings over a decade of experience supporting children and young people with SEND across a wide range of settings.

✨ She holds a Foundation Degree in Early Years Education and an Honours Degree in Childhood Studies and is a qualified Early Years SENCO with extensive EHCP experience. Katie supports families navigating autism, PDA, emotional regulation needs, behaviour understanding, the EHCP process and DLA applications.

✨ Alongside her professional knowledge, Katie also brings lived experience as a mum to two neurodivergent boys. This gives her a deep understanding of the realities families face day-to-day.

✨ Parents value Katie’s calm, knowledgeable and reassuring approach. She offers online 1:1 support designed to help families feel less overwhelmed and more confident in supporting their child.
