Year One has been busy cutting fruit as part of their DT lesson. The children cut and tasted different fruits in preparation for smoothie making in a few weeks. We put our fruit in bowls to enjoy as a fruit salad. π π π

Men's Health Week takes place June 15-21 π¦
The week aims to raise awareness of menβs health and to encourage all men to seek help to address any health concerns that they may be experiencing π¦
Did you know society's expectations and traditional gender roles play a role in why men are less likely to discuss or seek help for their mental health problems?
But itβs important to understand that stereotypes and expectations can also damage men π¦
Men are often expected to be the breadwinners and to be strong, dominant and in control π¦
While these arenβt inherently bad things, they can make it harder for men to reach out for help and open up π¦
Men may also be more likely to use potentially harmful coping methods such as drugs or alcohol and less likely to talk to family or friends about their mental health π¦

This event is aimed at Year 11 students and their parents, and will run from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Whether you're hearing about the programme for the first time or have already attended a trial or open training session, you're warmly invited to take part.
The evening will include course talks, interviews, and guided stadium tours, offering a valuable insight into our Football and Education pathway.
