🇫🇷 Although Brooke isn’t playing the part of Eponine in our production of Les Mis - she has massively embodied the show and looks up to our Seniors so much - they truly have no idea how much they inspire our younger students!!

💗 BE MY BABY cast 🩵
🌟 Our incredible Seniors in our Advanced Drama group are ready to take to the stage in this heart wrenching play!!
🍼 “Be My Baby” by Amanda Whittington is a touching 1998 play set in 1964. It follows 19 year old Mary Adams, who is sent to a Church of England Mother and baby home by her Mother to hide her pregnancy. Alongside other unmarried pregnant girls, Mary faces the harsh reality of the home and imminent adoptive of her baby.
🎶To cope with the bleak environment, harsh work in the laundry, and impending trauma, the girls find comfort and escapism in 1960s girl-group music. They sing and dance to popular pop songs, using the music as a way to express their youthful fantasies of romance and freedom.
