We are incredibly grateful to have been recognised by Places for People and invited to support one of their residents, Tony, who was no longer able to tend to his much-loved community garden.

Today, members of the UDevelop team worked alongside some fantastic volunteers, many of whom are also Places for People residents, to give the garden a new lease of life. Through partnership, kindness and community spirit, the space has been transformed and will now be maintained and supported by UDevelop.

This special garden will become a welcoming space where local residents in the Chorley East locality can come together to improve wellbeing, reduce isolation and take part in new nutritional education and growing activities.

A huge thank you to the Places for People team for their support, and a very special thank you to the wonderful Tony for welcoming us into his garden and allowing us to help preserve such an important community space.

Massive THANK YOU to our wonderful staff and volunteers for supporting and working on this project.

Over the coming weeks, we will be meeting regularly as we begin an exciting new growing initiative, bringing people together through gardening, learning and the shared benefits that nature can provide.

Together, we are not just growing plants – we are growing healthier, stronger and more connected communities.

Huge congratulations to the Digital T Level students from Runshaw College who delivered this project during their industry placement with the Shout Connect T Level Placement Agency. Their creativity, professionalism and commitment have been outstanding.

The students worked with UDevelop CIC a Lancashire Skills Pledge Employer, to design and build a website that supports the organisation's mission and impact.

UDevelop CIC is proud to launch our new website, created in partnership with talented T Level students who believed in our vision and embraced the values that make our organisation unique. Throughout the process, these young people immersed themselves in the UDevelop ethos, taking the time to understand our commitment to compassion, creativity, inclusion and empowering individuals to achieve sustainable and meaningful futures.

Their enthusiasm, professionalism and fresh ideas have helped bring our story to life online, creating a platform that truly reflects who we are and the communities we serve. This website is more than just a digital presence; it is a testament to the power of investing in young talent, building relationships and providing opportunities for people to grow, contribute and make a lasting impact.

At UDevelop CIC, we believe in nurturing potential, and this project demonstrates what can be achieved when young people are trusted, supported and inspired to use their skills to create something meaningful.

This initiative was delivered in partnership with the Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub, Lancashire Careers Hub and the Careers & Enterprise Company, showcasing the incredible value of employer-led learning and the talent of the next generation of digital professionals.

Our Positive Minds group today were taking part in some wonderful art therapy techniques.

This process can help learners with empowerment, enhance confidence and can also process emotions in an expressionistic way.

Our lovely group left feeling invigorated, supported and well integrated!!!
