How to get in the mood for...love? or English?
For many, it has been a love-hate relationship, the stormiest relationship ever!
How to get in the mood for English?

I have been talking quite a lot about the importance of the mood you are in before your English course, be it in a group or on an individual basis. You are not going to get much out of that brief our in your scheudle if all that's on your mind is the grocery shop you eed to make on your rushed way home!

Have a look at some tips I have compiled on how I would get myself in the mood for love for English if I were an English student.

Mind you, I was one myself!!!

Love Your English 02/02/2022

Hello everyone!!!
This week has brought quite a few changes. After the ordeal with the scammers who took over my old account and several brief moments of doubt and despair, I have connected with a thousand, yes, a thousand of new amazing women from Poland! That unexpected turn of events happened thanks to my wonderful student Magda Cygan, a brilliant Instagrammer and story-teller, owner of a vintage store loved and trusted by so many women in Poland. I am forever grateful!

It has also shown just how important English is to the Polish audience. Coincidentally, I have decided to niche down to the Polish audience mainly - especially regarding my Instagram content.

I have also launched my first landing page where you can book your absolutely FREE consultation with me and discuss how my CONFIDENCE BOOSTER course works as well as sign up to my newsletter for more FREE goodness!

Have a lovely day everyone!

Fall in love with English - easier said than done, right?...Right, but not impossible!

Positive attitude and open-minded approach have proven to boost language acquisition simply because you enjoy what you are doing, and when you love what you do, things go smoothly.

What if there is no chemistry between you and English?
Oh well, ask yourself if you really need to speak English...
How about trying a different language?
It may turn out you will get on better with each other...

Points to consider:
- which learning style suits you best?

- BE GOOD TO YOURSELF - do not perceive learning or speaking English as torture, but as an adventure or challenge - things can only get better if you try!

-if you are struggling with time, se t a special me-moment - in a bath or during the morning commute, be it in your car (podcasts?) or on the train (Wordle?).

Any thoughts?

Thank you for joining me last night - it was truly amazing!
I promise to bring you more free workshops where you can connect, develop and start believing in your potential!

You cannot imagine how happy I was to see your faces and, hopefully, managed to share a little bit of useful knowledge with you.
Just to recap the main points of today's workshop:

*Focus on the strengths - last night's workshop proved that many of you still focus on the negative sides of your English - my goal is to get you to see the positive sides!

*Remember that children are never afraid of being judged.
Try to bring back that child in you - think about your favourite smell, colour or image that brings back those happy moments.
This meditative approach creates space for you - you need to make space for yourself in order to create that confident space.

Leave your comfort zone to enter the confidence zone!

The way children learn is through experimenting, crossing the boundaries and limitations!

*Remember the two language points we briefly looked at:
the emphatic structures as well as the adverbials.

Let me know in the comments if you'd like to receive the activities booklet!

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me over the last 72 hours!
The bloody hackers messed up my account contacting my followers and offering them to invest in some CRYPTO scam - sharing footage of some awful SUV Mercedes as if it were my style anyway...

My Instagram account is dedicated to sharing knowledge and inspiring, not showing off wealth addressing human's lowest materialistic instincts!

Everyone who is following my page and is still following my old account- SPEAK ENGLISH IN LONDON - please report them and block them. THIS IS NOT ME ANYMORE.

I have set up a new account where I have started from scratch!
I would love to see you there!

With love,

Did you know that prepositions are more important than phrasal verbs?
Yes, they are.

The enfants terribles of English grammar... The more advanced you get, the more you seem to hate them.

But hey - as my mantra has it - prepositions love you, just give them some love too!
