1 year ago today. We boarded a one way flight to Thailand. We had just been through one of the biggest challenges and had to start everything again from scratch at age 35.

Here we are. Absolutely loving our new life, happy and grateful every day. We miss our family more than anything, but we found everything and more in our lovely little tropical paradise.

*Layering. This is where most people get it wrong.*

They try to nail one perfect entry.
Then wonder why they either miss it… or get stopped.

We don’t trade like that here.

Here's an example on a $1200 account.

*Buy zone: 4542 to 4536*

0.03 x 4 layers (total 0.12 lots)

4542 - 0.03
4540 - 0.03
4538 - 0.03
4536 - 0.03

Price doesn’t respect a single entry price.

It comes into a zone, runs it, fills orders… then moves.

So instead of guessing the exact top… we build the position through it.

*I really want you to understand this:*

If you drop one full position at the top… and it taps stop loss…
You’ve just taken max loss from the worst possible entry.

Layering fixes that.

Only your first entry is exposed up top.

Every entry below:

- closer to stop loss

- better priced

- less risk distance

So if it goes wrong, the loss is controlled. Not heavy.

The upside to doing this is:

Your lower entries are stronger.

They’re closer to the bottom, therefore further from TP

So when price moves up, you’re not relying on one entry…
You’ve built a better average entry.

That’s where the edge is quite honestly.
