Year Two have been learning how to whittle safely, developing their skills and confidence while using tools responsibly. Inspired by their Robin Hood topic, they carefully crafted their own arrows, showing excellent concentration, perseverance and pride in their work. 🏹

The outdoor adventures didn’t stop there! They also put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test by designing and building their own traps and alarm systems. It has been wonderful to see them working collaboratively, exploring new ideas and having lots of fun in the great outdoors. 🍃✨

✨ Imagination is at the heart of Early Years learning. As our Little Explorers immerse themselves in their classroom environment, they continually create their own stories, adventures and characters, developing their communication and language skills while having lots of fun along the way. 💫

This week has been no exception! The children have built cosy dens for themselves and animals, invented exciting storylines for visiting slugs and set off on thrilling pirate adventures. What busy explorers we have! 🦁🏴‍☠️🛶

Our Story Explorers had a roaring time during a dinosaur adventure this week! 🦖🌿

Using their imaginations, they created their own stories, discovered different dinosaur habitats and explored a prehistoric world full of excitement and creativity. What an adventure! ✨📚

Our Nursery children have loved following every stage of the butterfly life cycle - watching tiny caterpillars grow, transform into a chrysalis and emerge as beautiful butterflies! 🐛🦋

The curiosity, excitement and anticipation made their final release into the world even more special. It was a wonderful hands-on learning experience that brought nature to life! 💫🌿

🌱 Year One had a fantastic day of gardening to launch their new topic on plants! 🪴

The children explored what seeds need to grow, learned about different plants and planted their own sunflower seeds. They also worked together to repot tomatoes, aubergines, courgettes and flowers. They demonstrated great teamwork and care. We can’t wait to watch their plants grow over the coming weeks! 🌻🌿
