A huge good luck to our Year 10 boys as they take on West Coventry Academy in the Coventry Cup Final today!

We are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved to reach this stage. The first time in Grace history! Your commitment, determination and teamwork have been outstanding, and you have truly demonstrated what it means to reach your limitless potential.

On Thursday, Years 7, 8 and 9 worked together in their forms to demonstrate both our Grace Values and British Values in our first ever live inter-form quiz, listening to one another and showing Mutual Respect. Miss Smith was the Question Master and was really impressed with everyone’s football and Geography knowledge. 👏

A special well done to our winning form groups, 7NWI, 8EHA and 9DAL, who have been rewarded with some time to hangout as a form group, a treat and an early lunch!

Getting ready for the new school year shouldn't break the bank! Clothing Coventry is hosting a Free School Uniform Pop-Up this August to help families get kitted out for less.

Please note that due to reduced funding, all items will be second-hand / pre-loved, but are in great condition and ready for a new home! 🤝✨

We’re excited to launch our first ever inter-form competition for Years 7, 8 and 9 during AM form time tomorrow — miss it, miss out!

A reminder that we will be holding our Year 6 Transition Event this evening from 4pm.

This event is for students who didn’t have a visit from us at their Primary School, or for SEND students who would like an extra visit to Grace. It's a great opportunity for your child to meet some students who are also coming from smaller primary schools, and for you and your child to meet key staff, ask any questions you may have, as well as having another look around the building.

We can't wait to see you!

Today we had a very special visit from Radio, who came in to interview our students about the proposed under-16 social media ban.

As the national debate heats up, LBC wanted to hear real insights from the people who matter most. Our Year 10s did not disappoint! They shared incredibly mature opinions on whether a ban would actually work, the impact of apps on teenage mental health, and most importantly what real online safety should look like.

A massive well done to everyone who took part and spoke so eloquently. Listen out for us on the airwaves!

Week Three: Group Stage

The first step to a win is to show up!

Yesterday, some of our Year 7 students had an exciting opportunity to visit The Big Bang Fair at the NEC, one of the UK's largest celebrations of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).

Throughout the day, students explored a wide range of interactive exhibits, took part in hands-on activities, and discovered how STEM subjects are used to solve real-world challenges. From cutting-edge technology and engineering innovations to inspiring demonstrations and career pathways, there was plenty to spark curiosity and imagination.

The visit gave students the chance to meet industry professionals, learn about future careers, and see how the skills they develop in the classroom can lead to exciting opportunities in the world beyond school when they engage their Intentional Excellence.

It was fantastic to see our Year 7s engaging so enthusiastically, asking questions, and embracing new experiences. We hope the day has inspired the next generation of scientists, engineers, innovators and problem-solvers!

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome MCN Productions to Grace to film our school's promotional video!

It was fantastic to see our students and staff embodying the Grace Way throughout the day. From the classroom to the corridors, every interaction showcased the values, ambition, and sense of community that make our Academy so special.

Watching the school come to life on camera was truly remarkable, and we could not be prouder of how our students and staff represented Grace. They were a real credit to the Academy and demonstrated exactly what it means to be part of our Grace family.
