At the end of our Culture Day last Friday, we all came together in the hall. There was only one song that Take It To The Bridge could play so that everyone could sing. While we are all different, we are all part of something bigger. Nothing else quite unites like music!

Last week at Night of Rock #1 at The Tin Music and Arts , Take It To The Bridge played on the same bill as two bands who had strong ties with CB. After hearing that another band had to pull out of performing at the gig last week, Lovesüm kindly stepped into the breach despite their songwriter and guitarist being in Edinburgh on the morning of the gig! While the rest of the band sadly couldn't make it, the crowd were treated to a beautiful acoustic performance!

Last week at Night of Rock #1 at The Tin Music and Arts , Take It To The Bridge played on the same bill as two bands who had strong ties with CB. First up, 4 members of The Rascals went to Clifford Bridge and were previously members of Take It To The Bridge. They play beautiful dreampop songs, all written by the band. You can catch them on 2nd July at The HMV Empire playing in Coventry Music 's Live On Stage end of year concert. They are just getting better and better, if you get the chance, go and see them play!

Take It To The Bridge performed at Night of Rock #1 at The Tin Music and Arts last Thursday evening. They played brilliantly and represented Clifford Bridge superbly! Joining them were Bishop Ullathorne Catholic School 's Year 7 band Stone City who played just as well! On the line up were two other bands, both featuring ex members of Take It To The Bridge. We'll post some video of Coventry Music Live On Stage graduates The Rascals and Lovesum soon!

On Friday, Reception enjoyed wearing their special clothes on our Culture Day which had a particular focus on belonging. They took part in a kindness workout where they had to work with a partner to complete exercises - we were definitely better working together than on our own!

Our Summer of Music is underway! Last Monday, our talented pianists and keyboard players took to the stage to perform. They did brilliantly. Sadly, Mr. Wilson's iPad malfunctioned and some videos didn't have any sound at all, but letters will be coming out to pianists to see if they would like to come to the Summer Music Extravaganza to perform as well!
