Monday - Sunday 🔁
This week has felt heavy.
Like many across Belfast, I’ve spent time reflecting on everything that’s happened and thinking of those whose lives have been impacted. There are no easy words for weeks like this.
At the same time, I’ve found myself especially grateful. Grateful for family. Grateful for training. Grateful for our community. Grateful for the small moments that remind us who we are and what really matters.
In a world that can sometimes feel divided, community matters. Kindness matters. The way we show up for one another matters 💜❤️🩹

A great gym isn’t built on equipment.
It’s built on standards, culture, community and people who genuinely care.
Every coach here brings something different, but we’re united by the same goal: helping women become stronger, more confident, and more capable than they thought possible.
Grateful for our team 🥰💜
We love burpees here 👀😅

Let’s be real...
As busy women, we’ve already got 500 different things running through our heads every single day.
School runs.
Work.
Appointments.
Meal planning.
Remembering where everyone left their water bottle.
So expecting yourself to remember exactly what weight you front squatted for how many reps last Tuesday? Not happening.
This is exactly why tracking your training matters.
If you want to take your strength training seriously, you need to know where you’re starting from. Because if you don’t know what you lifted last week, how do you know whether you’re progressing this week?
Tracking your weights gives you direction. It takes the guesswork out of your sessions and allows you to apply progressive overload over time - whether that’s adding weight, reps, sets or improving your technique.
Too many women walk into the gym and just wing it.
The problem? What gets measured gets improved.
Now, that doesn’t mean every week has to be heavier than the last.
Women aren’t robots.
Sleep, stress, work, kids, energy levels, nutrition and different phases of your cycle can all impact performance. Some weeks you’ll push on, and some weeks you’ll need to pull things back.
That’s normal.
Tracking your training isn’t about forcing progress every session. It’s about having a benchmark. It gives you a starting point so you can make informed decisions based on how you’re feeling that day.
Strong training isn’t random.
It’s planned, tracked, adjusted when needed, and repeated consistently over time.
That’s how real progress is built 💜
Yes Maaaaaam 🫡
At EMPOWERED our coaches believe in you.
Maybe sometimes even more than you believe in yourself.
We know the “how did that feel? Looked comfortable, no? 🤨” is never really a question 🤣💜
Growth like this 🤯👏
So proud of our and all she has achieved during her time with us
What a woman 💜
