After a busy few days our Year 5 and 6 children who have been on residential are home safe and sound despite some traffic delays. I'm sure parents are hearing all about their adventures. We know you have all had an amazing time and are really proud of the resilience and team work you have shown supporting each other. Special shout out to Mrs Raine and Miss Goddard for their fantastic efforts in keeping everyone safe, making amazing memories and generally being super stars.Have a well earned rest everyone 🀩

Our Year 5 and 6 children who are in school have focussed their learning around the World Cup for the past 3 days. This morning they tasted food from the host countries including USA, Canada and Mexico. They have also created their own Pom Pom football games and there have been sone competitive matches already played.

What a wonderful day our Year 2 and Year 3 children had at Washington Wetland Centre! πŸŒΏπŸ¦†πŸ¦©πŸ¦¦

The children enjoyed learning all about wetland habitats and the amazing animals that call them home. They became wildlife explorers as they went pond dipping, discovering fascinating creatures living beneath the water's
surface. They were thrilled to spot and sketch lots of magnificent birds around the reserve, finding out lots of interesting facts about them.
We even saw some hungry otters at feeding time! 🦦🦦

Everyone had an amazing day and were
a real credit to our school. πŸ¦†πŸŒΌπŸ¦’
