3F have enjoyed time in the shade this afternoon channelling their inner Ancient Egyptian. We have been making papyrus paper in art ready for us to paint and make our own scrolls.

Year 5 had an amazing visit to the Shipley Art Galley, which was a follow up from a portrait workshop earlier in the year. We studied the artworks and historical items, reflecting the local area. We enjoyed sketching, taking part in a scavenger hunt and answering questions about the works of art while working together with our friends. We also enjoyed a picnic in the shade at Saltwell Park! Well done everyone for a fantastic day! 🖼️🎨

Year 1/2 BG have enjoyed cooling down in the classroom spa!

4G have had a fun afternoon building their DT pavilion structures!
Over the past few weeks, the children have carefully designed their pavilions, and today they brought their ideas to life. Once completed, we hosted our own Class EXPO where the children proudly displayed their work and admired each other's designs.

Year 1/2 BG said that making smoothies this afternoon was both fantastic and brilliant!!

Thank You so much to Hickory's Smokehouse Gateshead for offering our Gold/Silver Medallists and County Finalist gymnasts a wonderful treat for their hard work! We absolutely loved the popcorn, cinema room, milkshakes and fro-co! Sprinkling our own toppings on was lots of fun! THANKS SO MUCH for your kindness and generosity! What a fun treat! ⭐️🍿⭐️

Year 1/2 BG enjoyed cleaning our yard on Friday to help contribute to keeping our environment clean, great job!!
