💦Water Safety Week 💦
Yesterday in assembly we launched Drowning Prevention Week with an assembly looking at how to stay safe in the water. We looked at how to enjoy being in the water safely.
‘Float to live’ was the motto and in the afternoon some of our year 4 and 6 children went to the swimming baths to practise this skill. 💙

This weekend, Mrs Anglesea and her boys braved the open waters of Lake Windermere to take part in the Great North Swim. It was an incredibly tough challenge, but they showed incredible RESILIENCE to reach the finish line.
They completed the swim in memory of their nephew, Dylan, making their achievement even more meaningful.
We are so proud of them all. 💙
