Yesterday Oldfield Rd Tigers played Thameside Explorers in a friendly football match to celebrate the World Cup! The result of the game was 9-4 to TIGERS OLDFIELD!!!!!
Well done to all the children and staff who took part!

EXPLORERS' FATHER'S DAY SPORTS DAY !!!

A massive thank you to all the parents who joined in on our sports day. The children had so much fun with lots of different sports activities and the big bouncy castle.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

Upstairs in Explorers' construction & small world, our children had lots of fun 'Exploring The Universe'. We figured out we could balance the moonrocks, made sounds as we sprinkled the silver & blue rice, scrunching & unscrunching the tinfoil and also role-played the astronauts flying to space on their rockets. We then spoke about the colours of different planets too.

Our Thameside Discoverers have spent the last few weeks growing and taking care of ladybirds, and today was the day we let them go into the garden. We watched them grow and change from a larva to an adult ladybird. We can’t wait to look out for them all in the garden.

All past parents of Greenacres are invited to come and celebrate 30 years of Greenacres with us.

In Oldfield Road Tigers room we started off our World Cup week by creating a football pitch in our messy tray, and used the people to kick the ball around! Look at us playing!

Yesterday was World Cup day for our Thameside Discoverers! We baked and decorated football biscuits, did football colouring, played some football matches and had face paints! At the end of the day we all got a gold medal - we had so much fun!
