Multiple victories and strong performances set the stage for an exciting summer of racing!!
LEH Rowing Club enjoyed a highly successful weekend at Reading Amateur Regatta, with athletes across all age groups delivering impressive performances and securing several notable victories including our J16 Coxed Four produced an outstanding winning performance and our J15 squad enjoyed a particularly successful regatta along with wins for the J15 Band 2 Eight, J15 Band 2 Coxed Four and J15 Band 3 Quad! @lehjuniors

Outstanding success in the Anthea Bell Translation Competition!
With more than 25,000 students taking part across the UK, we're delighted to celebrate the achievements of our talented linguists.

🏆 Special congratulations to Vaanika (Year 9), who was named the Greater London Regional Winner in Level 2 French for her translation of Déclaration des droits de la femme et de la citoyenne by Olympe de Gouges.
These awards recognise exceptional language skills, creativity and cultural understanding. We are incredibly proud of all our students' achievements!

🏎️A fantastic day of racing for our Lower 5 Greenpower team, FlashDrive, at Bedford Autodrome!
After building their electric race car from scratch, Izzy, Sooah, Amelie, Olivia and Alexandra took on the Greenpower Formula 24 challenge and successfully completed both races with no breakdowns, a feat not achieved by every team on the day.

🏁 Best lap: 3 min 56 sec
⚡ Top speed: 18.7 mph
The team showed incredible resilience, teamwork and engineering skill and are already planning improvements for the next race in September.

Impressive victories all round!
It has been another exceptional week for sport at LEH, with pupils achieving success across cricket, tennis, athletics and swimming, while our staff also brought home borough honours on the netball court! These achievements are a testament to the hard work, dedication and resilience shown by our students throughout the year. Congratulations to all those who represented LEH so brilliantly this week!

LOST, FOUND & COMPLETELY CONFUSED
Set aboard a cruise ship where absolutely nobody can keep track of their belongings, this hilarious new comedy farce, written, directed and performed by LEH Drama students follows the chaos unfolding in the ship's Lost & Found department.
Featuring missing possessions, eccentric passengers, a vanished engagement ring and plenty of mayhem, this is an original production produced as part of our as part of The Girl Writes Initiative, which celebrates original female-led storytelling.

Rowing: Outstanding performance at the National Schools' Regatta
Congratulations to LEH Boat Club on an outstanding performance at this year’s National School' Regatta, where pupils secured several top-three finishes against some of the strongest school rowing crews in the country. The results are a testament to the athletes’ dedication, resilience, and teamwork throughout the season, as well as the support of coaches, staff and families. We are incredibly proud of all the rowers who represented LEH with distinction on the national stage.
