Monkey’s top tips for staying cool in this heatwave 🥵🩷

We received the most beautiful email from a SEN parent recently and we wanted to share it with you 🩷

This week, we had an older sibling (a previous attendee) come along with her little brother to a Ding-Dong class for 3&4 yr olds.

She had previously taken part in the whole curriculum - from 3 months old to 4, before heading to school about two years ago.

In the class, we were identifying and reading rhythms. The children had to listen to me playing a rhythm and match it to cards with the same rhythms written on in musical notation they have learned. This little girl got every single one right - she remembered everything!

It was such a beautiful moment and reminded me how important our progressive curriculum is and how what we teach sticks with your little ones for years!!

She didn’t hesitate once! It was incredible.

We had the most amazing time at our carnival workshop yesterday!! Thank you so much to everyone who came! It was fantastic to see so many friendly (and new!) faces 🎪🩷 We hope you all have a lovely rest of your half term and we can’t wait to see you all again on Monday!
