Providing a unique mentoring service with its own inhouse accredited interventions and training. We have a track record of are affective work with families and young people.

The Job

Our motivated and resilient mentors support vulnerable families and young people helping them develop their life & social skills, with goals of ambitions. whilst supporting local authorities within the community to reach the hard to reach. After the success of our mentoring programmes across a number of institutions we are now recruiting for a team of very driven, passionate and positive role models to be mentors for RoadLight in the local community.

The role will involve:

· Building rapport young people family in order to support them.

· Supporting mentees needs through regular mentoring session.

· Creating individualised plans based on their needs.

· Helping and supporting them into education training or employment

· Encouraging Empowering and inspiring them to make better choices.

· Writing up session and reports

· Delivering workshops

Who are we looking for?

Whether you have a natural desire to support and educate people often difficult to reach, or you are someone that has walked a similar path to those we mentor, we want to hear from you! The successful candidates will be working alongside a very close knit team in a rewarding role that gives you a reason to get up in the morning.

An ideal candidate must:

Be driven and resilient with a deep desire to support hard to reach individuals
Have an ability to motivate their mentees
Have excellent people and communication skills
Be a great active listener.
Have a full UK drivers’ licence and willing to use their car day to day.
Applicants must hold a current enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to undergo one and have it registered on the Online Update Service.
