Thereβs a worm at the bottom of the gardenβ¦ π±π
Our children got hands-on creating their very own wormeries out in the garden! Using plastic bottles, they carefully layered different materials to make the perfect home ready for some wriggly visitors. π‘β¨
The children loved exploring the different textures and learning all about how worms help our environment. It was a fantastic way to spark curiosity about nature and see how living things thrive beneath the soil. π±π
We canβt wait to see what happens next as we watch our wormeries come to life! ππ‘

In Preschool, independence is part of our everyday routine πΏβ¨
Each day at snack time, the children choose their own fruit from the fruit bowlππ, carefully chop it using child-safe knives πͺ, and pour their own drinks π₯ all by themselves.
By giving them these daily responsibilities, weβre supporting their fine motor development β, coordination, confidence π and decision-making skills .
These small daily moments make a big difference in building lifelong skills π

π¨π Exploring Emotions in our Explorers Room! ππ¨
This week in our Explorers Room, we have been diving into the wonderful story The Colour Monster by Anna Llenas πππβ€οΈ
Through reading The Colour Monster, the children have been learning all about different emotions and what they might feel like inside. We talked about happiness, sadness, calmness, anger and love β and how itβs okay to feel all of them. π
Our learning didnβt stop there! The children explored their creativity with a Colour Monster art activity, using different colours to represent different feelings.π¨β¨
We also enjoyed some calming time making and rolling in our Colour Monster playdough. This sensory activity helped support self-regulation, fine motor skills, and provided a gentle moment to relax and reflect. π
Supporting emotional regulation from an early age helps build confidence, empathy and resilience. π
