Although I’ve not been able to do quite what I’ve planned with the books this year, as sometimes life throws curveballs and other things have to take priority, they are still available for purchase and I’m still busy planning and beavering away in the background, as I know they will still be there when I am ready.

In the meantime, thank you to everyone that has supported us so far in the little journey, it is very much appreciated.

Morning all! Well my plan of some Easter sessions didn’t quite go to plan, as I got struck down with another vertigo attack 😢😢😢

So I am busy working behind the scenes on a few things, and have some plans for some stalls going in to the summer months. More info coming soon!

Like most, I am watching on in complete despair with what’s going on in the world right now. And although I can’t do much, every little helps.

So I have decided to give away(sort of) 10 signed books (5 copies of Adeline and The Pink Balloon and 5 copies of The Adventures of Little Jim Fit)

The only thing that I am asking is if you give a donation to one of the charities helping the Ukrainian refugees. It’s doesn’t matter how much, whatever you feel you can afford.

World Book Day! Do you love it or hate it?!

We are in the half and half camp here! For some, it’s not the enjoyable day that it ‘should’ be and causes more distress than enjoyment :0( (and then for the parents too!!) But for others it’s a fabulous fun day!

We love books, but not World Book Day! What about you?!

Although very cool this morning, one of mine dressed up as the character from her very own book!! Hopefully photo later, as we had to bust a gut to get out of the door this morning!!!!

Pancake day!!! How do you have yours?! It’s maple syrup all the way here!

Something a bit different today and a lovely evening spent with Create Your Happy at their parents and children session. We had fun making these this evening! 😍😍😍

The first one I am looking at will likely be either over the Easter holidays or near the Easter holidays.

I am looking at including the following:

💚 Worksheets based around kindness for the children to complete
💜 Colouring activity
💙 Crafting activity
💛 Take home a signed copy of Adeline and The Pink Balloon and a small gift too

This will be a workshop for an adult to attend with a child (or children!)

So yesterday, one went to a pottery cafe for some decorating fun (and it was a birthday party so I didn’t have to stay!) and meanwhile the other one got busy building a den in his bedroom, for him to sleep in last night!

Is it half term where you are this week? It is here! I always find the February half term the hardest to fill - it’s often wet, and usually very cold!!
