We are having a wonderful World Book Day at Ash Hill! We love reading so WBD is always a fantastic day for us.

We had a brilliant assembly this morning to share everybody's amazing costumes. This year is all about how reading brings us JOY, an important part of our school vision. Thank you to all the parents and carers who have helped create the children's joyful costumes.

We have transformed our environment into a book wonderland with themed doors for each classroom. Take a look at some of the pictures!

We have a visiting poet who has been running workshops all day and the children are getting stuck into some fabulous creative writing.

We hope you continue the celebrations at home, maybe by sharing some of your own favourite childhood books with the children!

Aftrr a peaceful night, Year 6 are ready for Circus Skills and Leap of Faith this morning!

Year 6 have had another excellent day. An delicious dinner (burger night 🤩) after a busy day of raft racing and crate stacking. Staff have been very impressed with how the children challenged themselves today.

Year 6 have had a brilliant day today. The highlight was definitely working together to build and launch their own rafts!

Year 6 have had a fantastic afternoon and are looking forward to a camp fire this evening 🔥 ⛺️
