Year 2 enjoyed their final school trip of the year with a visit to Pizza Express. During their visit, they learned about the history of the restaurant, discovered the ingredients that go into making delicious pizzas and even found out that the Margherita pizza was named after Queen Margherita of Italy!
The highlight of the trip was, of course, getting to eat their freshly made pizzas for their snack. ππ

Last month we welcomed two pupils from KBES in Seoul as part of our international immersion programme. This is the second year running the partnership opportunity with KBES. The girls spent 4 weeks with us, fully integrating into our wonderful Godstowe community. The experience allowed them to improve their language skills, experience British boarding culture and receive outstanding pastoral care.
We welcome pupils from around the world into our vibrant community through our short term and long term boarding options. Get in touch with our admissions team at [email protected] if you would like to find out more!

Last week saw the return of two annual sporting fixtures; U13 netball vs staff and parents and U11 cricket vs staff. Both games were hotly contested with both sides being evenly matched. ππ
In the U11 cricket match, the girls delivered outstanding bowling performances, taking plenty of wickets to restrict staff to just 42 runs. They finished on 54 runs meaning our U11 girls secured a well deserved 12 run victory over teachers!
The U13 netball match was just as close with both teams moving well around the court. Final score was teachers and parents 17 vs pupils 14!

Year 1 headed to Oxford Botanic Gardens to bring their geography and science topics to life. They enjoyed exploring the rainforest greenhouse, proudly demonstrating their knowledge of different rainforest layers. The children also enjoyed discovering plants and flowers from around the world, sketching their observations into their trip booklet.
Reception visited Amersham Field Centre at Mop End. The children enjoyed examining mini beasts, building dens and going pond dipping.
