All schools across The Great Learners Trust, including West Wycombe, have now achieved Parentkind Accreditation, recognising our strong commitment to working in partnership with our families.

Parentkind is the UK’s largest parent charity, and their accreditation process is a rigorous, evidence‑based way to assess how well schools engage with, listen to, and work alongside parents.

Parents play a vital role in every child’s education, and we want to thank you for the support, feedback, and involvement you bring to our school communities. This achievement is something we celebrate with you, as it reflects our shared commitment to putting children first.

Each school was assessed against Parentkind’s Blueprint for Parental Engagement, covering 325 measures of best practice - from communication and inclusion to learning support and opportunities for families to contribute to school life.

Thank you for being an essential part of our community. We look forward to continuing to build even stronger partnerships to support every child’s learning journey.

A huge thank you to our incredible staff and parent community!

As many of you are aware, we unfortunately today had a burst pipe in our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 building due to the adverse weather over the last couple of days. What could have been an absolute disaster turned into a wonderful display of community spirit as our staff and parent community all pitched in to salvage as much furniture, books and resources as possible. Not only that, but that team have worked all day to create wonderful learning places that Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will be able to use whilst the damage is repaired.

Images will be shared of these wonderful spaces and as soon as we know more information about the building becoming safe to be used again, we will communicate this.

Once again, a huge thank you to our whole community for their support.

From a very grateful Head of School, Mr. Ventin

Earlier in the week, Year 4 visited Hughenden Manor. We became familiar with former Prime Minister, Benjamin Disraeli. We enjoyed viewing artefacts and we loved dressing up!

Dan the Skipping Man joined us yesterday for a skipping workshop. Each class learnt unique tricks to develop focus, concentration and speed of thought. We loved the workshop and we are very grateful for the opportunity!

The children have been very excited about checking their WestBucks credits and thoughtfully choosing how to spend them on a range of items and experiences. It’s been wonderful to see them engaging with the system and demonstrating responsible decision-making.

Thank you to the audience who came to see the performances inspired by Little Red Riding Hood. The children in Year 1 spent a lot of time and effort making, sewing and decorating puppets!
