Chiltern Music Academy - where 500 children/young people enjoy the thrill of making music together What is different about CMA?

The CMA seeks to make music accessible to all:
Geographically: across the whole of Wycombe and the surrounding areas
Academically: across a range of abilities and disabilities
Financially: keeping membership fees low and offering bursaries where possible
Independent of bureaucracy, we are here to stay regardless of government cuts and are free to explore new initiatives in music making

🎵Introducing Find Your Forte!

Is your child ready to start their musical journey? Our Find Your Forte programme offers weekly lessons where children learn to master the instrument they’ve chosen - whether that’s Strings, Brass, or Woodwind!

Starting this September, with spaces available for new players. No experience needed, just enthusiasm! 💙

Days 4 and 5 at the Sound Shop 🎶

Friday was all about brass - we began the day with a music session, our brass ensemble performed in the Eden Centre, then we got stuck in trying trumpets, trombones and more 🎺

Saturday brought music and movement, and a choir performance and sing-along that had everyone joining in! 🌟

Isle of Wight Junior Tour 2026! ☀️

67 students. 9 leaders. 7 concerts. 5 bands. 3 unforgettable days! 🎶

From pop-up performances to campfires under the stars, our Junior Tour to the Isle of Wight was everything we hoped for and more!

So proud of every single musician who gave their all - on stage, on the ferry, and everywhere in between 💙

Sound Shop Live began with a string quartet in the Eden Centre, then it was straight over to the Sound Shop where we tried lots of string instruments!
