One-off introductory offer - only £7 a week if you book and pay in advance for 5 x drumming classes 7th Oct to 4th Nov! Would you like to learn to play the djembe and dundun drums and the amazing rhythms from West Africa? Or you've played a bit before, but now want to do more? You might also (or instead!) be interested in the dance classes? To give you an idea of what this sounds and looks like here is a video of my group performing!

LIFT Programme students were able to enjoy an African Drumming and percussion workshop last week with Justine and Malcolm from Hartbeats Drumming.

All were able to investigate rhythm and tempo using a variety of Djembe and Dundum drums, as well as learn about the cultures that have influenced Justine's work and her artistic expression.

All agreed that this was a fabulous way to end our exploration into the world of art!

We really enjoyed teaching the pupils at Buckingham School. Here's a little clip of the warm up at the beginning to help them learn the djembe bass and tones sounds are played.
